- Démarche afin d'obtenir une contribution financière destinée à soutenir un programme de mise en valeur de l’entrepreneuriat et d’initiation à l’éducation économique visant le grand public.
- Démarche pour que Transports Canada accepte le financement pour permettre le déploiement de mesures intermodales proposées par l'administration du Port de Montréal pour accroître la mobilité des marchandises en transit au Port de Montréal.
- S'assurer du suivi de la part de la ministre du travail sur nos demandes de subventions auprès d'EDSC effectuées pour les projets d'inclusion des travailleurs autochtones et des personnes handicapées.

- Budget fédéral 2016-2017 (maintien du calendrier de retour à l'équilibre budgétaire, contrôle de la croissance des dépenses publiques, maintien d'une fiscalité globale concurrentielle pour les entreprises et les particuliers, etc.)
- Financement du Régime de pensions du Canada (maintien de taux de cotisation concurrentiels pour les employeurs et des travailleurs au RPC/RRQ, révision des bénéfices offerts par le régime pour mieux en contrôler les coûts, etc.)
- Mise en oeuvre de l'Accord économique et commercial global entre le Canada et l'Union européenne et d'autres ententes similaires avec d'autres régions du monde (harmonisation de la réglementation canadienne avec celles d'autres législations, mesures d'information, d'aide et d'accompagnement pour les entreprises canadiennes qui veulent investir en Europe, compensations transitoires pour certains secteurs économiques affectés, etc.)
- Mise en oeuvre des investissements prévus dans le nouveau plan Chantiers Canada et remplacement du pont Champlain (réalisation des investissements dans les budgets et les délais impartis, coordination et communication avec les autres acteurs impliqués (provinces, municipalités, etc.), mise en place de mesures de mitigation et d'atténuation, etc.)
- Représentations afin d'obtenir une application équitable pour les entreprises hors Canada des lois fiscales fédérales et des taxes en vigueur pour le commerce électronique transfrontalier et la distribution de contenus numériques.
- Représentations en vue d'obtenir des évaluations d'impact économiques et des allègements aux mesures proposées par le gouvernement, notamment en ce qui a trait aux gains en capital, au fractionnement du revenu et aux revenus passifs.
- Représentations gouvernementales afin de suggérer des modifications à la Partie III du Code canadien du travail, notamment en regard des dispositions concernant les heures supplémentaires.
- Réglementation sur la concurrence dans le secteurs des télécommunications sans fil (appuyer l'introduction de plus de concurrence dans le secteur de la téléphonie sans fil, tout en corrigeant la réglementation en vigueur pour éviter que des entreprises canadiennes ne soient pénalisées au profit d'entreprises étrangères)
- Suivi de l'implantation d'une norme pancanadienne sur la santé psychologique au travail (mieux cibler la problématique de la santé psychologique au travail et des pistes de solution à privilégier, départager les responsabilités de chacun, éviter que l'application de la norme devienne une contrainte additionnelle pour les employeurs en plus du fardeau réglementaire et administratif qu'ils doivent déjà assumer, etc.)
- Élimination du crédit d'impôt sur le capital de risque pour les fonds de travailleurs (inviter le gouvernement fédéral à tenir compte de l'ensemble des facteurs relatifs à cette mesure et des retombées positives des fonds de travailleurs, tout en appuyant le principe d'une équité fiscale au niveau des fonds de capital de risque)

- Mise en œuvre d’un accord de partenariat transpacifique concernant la facilitation de liens commerciaux entre le Canada et la région de l’Asie Pacifique (réduction des droits de douane, échanges transfrontaliers de biens et de services, circulation des personnes, des données et des capitaux, etc.).

- Mener des représentations gouvernementales afin de contrer l'élargissement de l'application de l'article 47.3 du Code canadien du travail (partie I) et protéger le principe de libre-concurrence dans le cadre du programme du travail fédéral visant notamment à revoir la réglementation concernant la rémunération égale pour les travailleurs contractuels
- Mettre en place des mesures pour atténuer les effets des changements au Programme des travailleurs étrangers temporaires sur les entreprises du Québec.

- Importance de favoriser la mise ne place de processus d’accréditation par vote secret et d’une obligation de reddition de compte publique pour les syndicats.
Policies or Program
- Mener des représentations afin d'être reconnu comme un intervenant de premier plan en matière de travail, tant au niveau national qu'international. S'assurer notamment que le CPQ ait un siège permanent dans la délégation d'employeurs à la Conférence internationale du Travail afin d'assurer une représentation des employeurs québécois parmi les employeurs canadiens.
- Mise en oeuvre du Plan d'action pour la réduction du fardeau administratif (respect de la règle du "1-pour-1", allégement et simplification du fardeau réglementaire et administratif des entreprises, éviter d'imposer de nouvelles réglementations sans en éliminer d'autres, harmonisation de la réglementation avec les provinces, etc.)
- Mise en oeuvre et modalités de la Subvention canadienne pour l'emploi et renouvellement des ententes fédérales-provinciales sur la formation de la main-d'oeuvre et le marché du travail (inciter le gouvernement fédéral à revenir sur sa décision d'intervenir directement dans le domaine de la formation des travailleurs et à plutôt fixer des objectifs généraux en la matière, négocier de nouvelles ententes avec le Québec sur la formation et le marché du travail qui tiennent compte de l'expertise et de la compétence du Québec en la matière, ainsi que des structures déjà établies comme la Commission des partenaires du marché du travail, etc.)
- Représentations afin d’amener les trois paliers de gouvernements (municipal, provincial, fédéral) à compléter le montage financier, à hauteur de 3 milliards de dollars, qui permettra la réalisation d'un Projet structurant de transport en commun (RSTC) pour la Ville de Québec, en tenant compte des besoins futurs de la population et d'achalandage.
- Représentations afin que le gouvernement poursuivent ses négociations de l'ALENA afin que l'accord favorise notamment l'intégration économique mondiale, l'harmonisation des normes environnementales et la mobilité des talents et libre circulation des biens et des investissements.
- Régime d'assurance-emploi (maintenir des taux de cotisation concurrentiels pour les employeurs et les travailleurs, inviter le gouvernement fédéral à recommencer à contribuer à la caisse d'assurance-emploi et à rembourser les sommes retirées par le passé, revoir les bénéfices du régime afin de mieux en contrôler les coûts, favoriser la mise en place de plus de mesures actives pour favoriser la formation et l'emploi grâce au régime, mener une analyse sur les impacts de la réforme du régime pour certains secteurs économiques et apporter rapidement des correctifs au besoin, etc.)
- Soutien gouvernemental à l'écosystème d'affaires de l'industrie aéronautique afin d'appuyer la compétitivité, l'innovation et les exportations de ses différents secteurs.
- Soutien gouvernemental à l'écosystème d'affaires de la construction afin d'appuyer la compétitivité, l'innovation et les exportations de ses différents secteurs.
Regulation
- Ajustement du Règlement sur les médicaments brevetés afin que soient rétablies les conditions assurant le brevetage adéquat des thérapies combinées à dose fixe.
- Mener des représentations gouvernementales afin que les modifications apportées au Règlement sur les médicaments brevetés soient faites sans affecter la position concurrentielle du Canada comme destination d’investissement et de recherche par les entreprises pharmaceutiques. Le CPQ appuie notamment l'objectif visant à rendre les médicaments plus accessibles, mais souhaite que des moyens appropriés soient pris pour ne pas freiner l’innovation et le développement économique.
- Règlement sur la santé et la sécurité du travail (révision des normes sur le travail en espaces clos, arrimage des définitions et des normes avec la règlementation provinciale)
