- Discussions with Canadian Heritage for funding under (1) the Community Support, Multiculturalism and Anti-Racism Initiative Program related to implementation of the Global Pluralism Index in Canada and (2) the Anti-Racism Action Program for education programming in Canada.
- Discussions with Global Affairs Canada regarding ongoing funding under the Inclusion, Diversity and Human Rights fund related to implementation of the Global Pluralism Monitor
- Discussions with IDRC regarding ongoing funding for implementation of the Global Pluralism Monitor
- Seeking funding from the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario under the Canada Community Revitalization Fund.
Policies or Program
- Discussions with Canadian Heritage, Statistics Canada, IRCC, CRA and other agencies related to the findings of the Global Pluralism Monitor assessment of Canada. Recommendations include addressing data gaps on racialized and minority groups, including reinstating the disbanded Canadian Ethnic Diversity survey (2002) and including Indigenous peoples.
- Discussions with Global Affairs Canada, Canadian Missions and federal legislators related to peacebuilding, conflict mediation, diversity and inclusion, and the findings of the Global Pluralism Monitor assessments globally.
- Discussions with National Capital Commission< National Gallery of Canada, and the Royal Canadian Mint related to the Plan for Canada’s Capital 2017-2067, including possible joint initiatives related to the revitalization of the Ottawa River in and around the Nepean Point.
