- Advancing standards development to protect against the effects of climate change.
- Advocating for the federal government to support standards development to support municipalities, by encouraging their implementation of standards related to flood mitigation and resilient infrastructure, to protect their citizens and infrastructure from flood-related impacts and damage.
- CSA Group’s standards and research support the transition to bioeconomy by setting requirements and guidance across the whole landscape - from sustainable biomass supply chain through safety and performance of conversion technologies to bio-based products, their use, and end-of-life management, including the disposal, recycling, and repurposing.
- CSA continues to advocate for the government to support standards development activities through funding and participation, and by incorporating standards by reference in federal regulations and tying funding programs to the use of standards.
- CSA offers comprehensive standards-based training and is exploring further opportunities for government funding to support our current education and training programs. As well as new areas we could offer training for the implementation of standards.

CanmetENERGY (Natural Resources Canada) regarding financial support from Natural Resources Canada for the purpose of updating the NGV (Natural Gas Vehicle) Design and Installation Codes, specifically, B108 and B109, in support of Natural Resources Canada's Natural Gas Vehicle Implementation Plan.

- Advocating at the Regulatory Reconciliation and Cooperation Table (RCT) committee to reduce internal trade barriers through the development of national standards.
