- Canada Health Transfer - RNAO urges an increase in Canada Health Transfer with the condition provinces and territories address critical human resources crisis and and timely access to health services across the health continuum nation wide.
- Climate change - RNAO urges Canada’s leaders – at all levels and in all places – be at the forefront of the global fight for our planet and our future! We must accelerate our efforts to arrest climate change.
- National long-term care standards - continue to monitor the national long-term care standards to ensure they are clearly outlined, enforceable, address staffing shortfalls, and improve the quality of care for Canada's seniors living in long-term care homes.
- Opioid crisis - RNAO calls on the Canadian Government and Federal Minister of Health to take necessary legislative and regulatory action to decriminalize the possession and use of drugs.
- Pharmacare - RNAO urges support for a national pharmacare program so all Canadians are guaranteed access to medically necessary drugs.
