• Conducting outreach and advocacy to the Federal Government on: Electrification, Clean Energy Resources, a National Grid Council, Clean Emissions Standard ZEV Vehicles, Electricity Transmission Project Development, Joint Use of Electricity Infrastructure, Funding Mechanisms for Indigenous participation in transmission project ownership;

Regulation

• Advocating for changes to the incoming regulations banning the use of Pentachlorophenol as a wood pole preservative;
• Advocating for removal of trade restrictions on imported products necessary for the energy transition and electricity reliability;
• We will be actively participating in regulatory discussions regarding the Clean Electricity Standards being proposed by the Government of Canada;
