The Smart Grid Program. Part of Natural Resource Canada’s targeted national programs addressing key infrastructure to advance the goals of the Pan Canadian Framework on Clean Growth and Climate Change. It assists Utility-led projects to reduce GHG emissions, better utilize existing electricity assets and foster innovation and clean jobs for: demonstration of smart grid technologies and deployment of smart grid integrated systems.
The Smart Renewables and Electrification Pathways Program (SREPs). The program will provide direct financial support to eligible renewable energy and grid modernization projects during the construction phase.
