Environment	We are requesting the Government of Canada implement more emissions reduction and renewable energy initiatives. Particularly for universities, schools, hospitals, nonprofits, and charities.	Policies or Program
Environment	We ask that the federal government require that buildings constructed with federal government funds be energy efficient and zero carbon: They should meet the top-tier net-zero energy-ready (NZER) standard of the 2020 National Model Building Codes and also the top level for operational GHG emission performance in the 2025 codes. The current requirements only require a 25% decrease in energy consumption and GHG emissions relative to the 2015 National Energy Code for Buildings or a 15% decrease relative to the 2017 NECB. Economic Development, Environment	We would like to see a continuation of the Clean Technology Investor Tax Credit, an accelerated roll out of the Clean Electricity Investor Tax Credit, and the expansion of these programs to include additional non-taxable entities such as Universities, Schools, Hospitals, Nonprofits & Charities. Environment	We would like to see the continuation of the Canada Greener Homes Program & an accelerated roll out of the Low-Income Green Retrofit Fund. The Low-Income Green Retrofit Fund should also be inclusive of solar (as the Canada Greener Homes Program is).	Policies or Program
