Policies or Program
- CIC Parliamentary Internship Program: the CIC administers a parliamentary internship program on behalf of the Jewish Community. The program allows new university graduates an oppurtunity to learn first-hand how the Canadian political process functions. Interns serve in MPs offices as unpaid staff. From time-to-time, the interns are asked to provide assistance to the organization (i.e., the CIC) when advocacy events are organized on the Hill. In that capacity, the interns are fulfilling a function directly on behalf of the CIC and not in their capacity as an intern in the offices of the MPs to whom they are assigned.
