Description of the organization's activities
The Alzheimer Society consists of a national office (Alzheimer Society of Canada), 10 provincial organizations and more than 140 local groups across the country. Since 1978, we've been dedicated to providing help for people with Alzheimer's disease and their caregivers. The Alzheimer Society of Canada identifies, develops and facilitates national priorities that enable its members to effectively alleviate the personal and social consequences of Alzheimer's disease and related disorders, promotes research and leads the search for a cure.
