• International Trade Issues assocaited with the movenemnt of trade between Canada and the USA. This concerns potential negotiations with the President Trump administration on the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and other trade agreements including the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) and other Bilateral discussions.

• Federal government plan to set explicit targets for diverting plastic waste and eliminate the unnecessary use of single-use plastics in government operations. Federal government policy to leverage procurement practices to focus on sustainable plastic products
• Impact of the Clean Fuel Standard (CFS) on industrial operations in Canada. Concern with the impact on the availability of renewable natural gas as a result of the CFS being applied to gaseous fuels. Concern with the availability of offset credits for obligated parties and the impact of the cost of carbon.
• Rail service review with respect to level of service, and load safe and security. Concern with the potential transfer of liability from carrier to shipper.

• Notice of intent to regulate air pollutants and greenhouse gases, pertaining to draft regulations for off-sets and credit for early action.
• Registration of treated articles under the Pest Control Products Regulations promulgated under the Pest Control Products Act.
• The risk assessment and potential risk management of zinc oxide and other zinc based substances
