• Activities around amending the Hazardous Product Regulations (HPR) to maintain previous use of material or substance concentration ranges to protect Confidential Business Information and to harmonize with the US.
• Better alignment of regulatory requirements between Canada and US to streamline regulatory approvals and avoid duplication.
• Canada's Implementation of the Globally Harmonized System of Classifications and Labelling of Chemicals mainly as it relates to regulatory and implementation alignment with the US
• Canadian Environmental Protection Act (CEPA) with respect to nanotechnology and nanomaterials subject to the New Substances Notification Regulations
