The Deans Council - Agriculture, Food & Veterinary Medicine (Deans Council AFVM), Conseil des Doyens - Agriculture, Alimentation & Médicine Vétérinaire (Conseil des Doyens AAMV) is a non-profit organization whose members are the Deans of the Agriculture, Food and Veterinary Medicine Faculties of the Canadian Universities. The Deans Council AFVM's activities are: 1. To seek collaborative arrangements among members to strengthen Canadian capacity in academic research and teaching. 2. To provide a single access point to agriculture, food and veterinary medicine faculties for industry partners and government agencies. 3. To strengthen Canada’s ties to other agriculture, food and veterinary medicine faculties around the world.
