IN 1937, DU CANADA WAS INCORPORATED UNDER THE CANADA CORPORATION ACT PART II AS A PRIVATE, NON-PROFIT CONSERVATION ORGANIZATION. DU CANADA'S MISSION IS TO CONSERVE WETLANDS AND ASSOCIATED HABITATS FOR THE BENEFIT OF NORTH AMERICA'S WATERFOWL, WHICH IN TURN PROVIDE HEALTHY ENVIRONMENTS FOR WILDLIFE AND PEOPLE. DU CANADA IS GOVERNED BY A VOLUNTEER BOARD OF DIRECTORS, NUMBERING ABOUT 75 MEMBERS, WHO SERVE IN A POLICY SETTING AND ADVISORY CAPACITY.
