Excise Tax Act - National Energy Board Cost Recovery policies that establish the rules and levels of financing that users in the electricity sector must pay as part of the CER cost recovery policies, capital cost allowance rates, and policies pertaining to overcoming barriers to timely investment in infrastructure related to siting, rates of return, community acceptance and public understanding of need.
GHG reduction measures, in respect to the Clean Fuel Standard, Carbon Pricing, Out-Based Pricing System and other GHG reduction policies and regulations.
Impact Assessment Act, formerly known as Bill C-69, "An Act to enact the Impact Assessment Act and the Canadian Energy Regulator Act, to amend the Navigation Protection Act and to make consequential amendments to other Acts", in respect to environmental assessment policies and procedures to streamline and enhance efficiency of the environmental assessment process and regulations to permit the construction of new generation and transmission infrastructure in a more timely and cost effective manner.

Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) - We are seeking to determine a process by which critical infrastructure owners or operators can apply to have Class F restricted airspace designated over their sites. The purpose is to discourage RPAS operations (or other unwanted aircraft) over critical infrastructure, especially in the energy sector.
Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) - We are seeking to support Beyond Visual Line of Site (BVLOS) operations for RPAS in Canada for our members. RPAS are a cost-effective and safe way of examining linear features like transmission lines.

Founded in 1891, Electricity Canada (formerly the Canadian Electricity Association) is the national forum and voice of the evolving and innovative electricity business in Canada. The Association supports, through its advocacy efforts, the regional, national, and international success of its members. Electricity Canada members generate, transmit, and distribute electrical energy to industrial, commercial, residential, and institutional customers across Canada. Members include integrated electric utilities, independent power producers, transmission and distribution companies, power marketers, manufacturers and suppliers of materials, technology, and services and represent over 85% of the Canadian population. Electricity Canada is the national voice for sustainable electricity for its members and the customers they serve as the country works towards a Net Zero by 2050 future.
