Promoting the success of the Chemical Management Plan as an international standard for assessing chemical substances.
The Silicones Environmental Health and Safety Council (SEHSC) is working with Environment Canada on the Risk Assessment and Risk Management of siloxane based substances . These substances are being assessed by the Government’s Chemical Management Plan which is jointly managed by Environment Canada and Health Canada. Our role is to facilitate the use of ongoing science in to the risk assessment and risk management process.
