- Collaborating with Financial Consumer Agency of Canada on Financial Literacy month (November 2014) to share credit union financial literacy programs and initiatives.
- Ensuring the implementation of the federal government’s “small business lens” policy framework in policy areas that impact credit unions.
- Issues that impact the competitiveness of credit unions such as federal credit union legislation, Office of Superintendent of Financial Institutions regulation of provincial credit union centrals, CMHC’s mortgage insurance policies and anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing legislation.
- Participated in a consultation around the establishment of a federal financial consumer code and continue to follow up on this matter.
