- Accord de libre-échange. Représentations faites par Agropur afin de s’assurer que tout accord de libre-échange, entres autres l’Accord économique et commercial global entre le Canada et l’Union européenne, l’Accord du Partenariat transpacifique et l'Accord de libre-échange nord-américain, promeut la saine compétition, sans désavantager indûment les transformateurs laitiers canadiens, et plus particulièrement, à l’égard des fromages et autres produits laitiers.
- Représentations faites par Agropur afin de s’assurer du respect des accords de commerce international qui sont en vigueur et afin de s’assurer qu’Agropur soit consulté et impliqué à l’égard de toute proposition d’amendements à ces accords.

- Communications concernant la reconduction du régime fiscal des parts à imposition différée prévu dans la Loi de l’impôt sur le revenu (Canada) devant se terminer en 2020, dont bénéficie Agropur.
- Plan national de commercialisation du lait. Interventions par Agropur afin de s’assurer que le Plan national de commercialisation du lait est bien administré et que les changements proposés à celui-ci soient favorables aux activités de production laitière et de transformation du lait d’Agropur. Agropur défend aussi auprès du gouvernement les droits des manufacturiers de produits laitiers concernant tout sujet lié aux produits laitiers.
- Programme de compensation. Représentations faites par Agropur pour maximiser ses parts d’importations réservées au secteur manufacturier des produits laitiers.
- Représentations à l'égard de l'élaboration des politiques et programmes du gouvernement canadien en matière de nutrition et d'alimentation, incluant ceux portant sur l'information nutritionnelle et la Stratégie de Santé Canada en matière de saine alimentation.

- Quotas d’importation. Représentations faites par Agropur en réponses aux possibles changements ou amendements qui pourraient être faits aux règles et règlements existants dans le cadre des parts d’importation et pour s’assurer que de tels changements ou amendements reflètent favorablement les activités d’importation, de production laitière et de transformation du lait d’Agropur et de ses membres particulièrement ainsi que les intérêts du secteur de la transformation du lait en général.

Fondée en 1938, Agropur coopérative est aujourd'hui la plus importante coopérative laitière au Canada avec un chiffre d'affaires de plus de 5,9 milliards de dollars. La coopérative est la propriété de plus de 3 367 producteurs de lait du Québec et emploie au-delà de 8 000 personnes. Plus de 5,7 milliards de litres de lait sont transformés annuellement dans 39 usines réparties en Amérique du Nord.
