- Le Collège nordique francophone sollicite des fonds auprès de Patrimoine Canada comme établissement postsecondaire de la langue de la minorité linguistique officielle. Ces fonds sont pour rehausser la capacité de l'institution d'offrir une plus large gamme de programmes et mieux servir la communauté linguistique. Le Collège souhaite aussi s'impliquer davantage dans les dossiers liés à l'éducation dans les territoires nordiques canadiens.
Legislative Proposal, Bill or Resolution, Policies or Program
- Langues officielles : Plan d'action pour les langues officielles, C-13 et autres mesures/programmes pour appuyer les communautés de langue officielle en situation minoritaire (CLOSM). Le futur Plan, en particulier, pourrait inclure du financement pour les établissements d'enseignement postsecondaire comme le Collège Nordique francophone. D'autre part, il y a aussi les Fonds complémentaires pour le postsecondaire dans les CLOSM, venant des Langues officielles, est aussi une source de financement.
