- Funding for a new bridge over the Peel River near Fort McPherson. This bridge could connect the Dempster Highway which is an all-weather road and allow for year-round supply of essential goods and services, opening our communities to increased economic opportunity and availability of essentials allowing for a sustainable future. The government must also consider significant upgrades to the Dempster Highway and possible construction of the Mackenzie Valley Highway.
- Increase of the Tribal Council Funding to either Tier 2 or 3 dependent upon additional analysis of our major programming.
- Provide funding to allow for this very important essential NIHB Coordinator position to support Gwich’in Participants
- The Gwich’in Tribal Council continues to seek funding to retrofit an on-the-land facility about 15 kilometres south of Inuvik, NT, located on the east branch of the Mackenzie River within the Gwich’in Settlement Region.

- Settlement of the Eddie Snowshoe Case in a way that further reconciliation and brings the issue to a swift conclusion
