• Navigating the financial implications for the Pacific fisheries industry as it relates to the federal budget and fall economic statement.

Policies or Program

• Communication with policy makers about all matters of BC fisheries policy including the Pacific Salmon Strategy Initiative, salmon conservation stamps, and the protection of salmon.
• Discussions with government officials about Indigenous-led conservation initiatives to restore wild Pacific salmon populations, including the establishment of a Salmon Park in BC.
• Reinforce the importance of collaboration and partnership amongst federal, provincial and Indigenous groups for the protection of Pacific salmon and their habitats.
