- Funding for Implementation of the Framework for Diabetes tabled by the Minister of Health on October 5, 2022.
- Increase Federal funding for Diabetes Research - work directed towards increasing funding to federal granting councils, in particular the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) through the Federal Budget.
- Increase funds for diabetes in the Federal Budget specifically to increase funds directed to the Canadian Diabetes Strategy to reflect growth in diabetes prevalence and cost.
- Work with the Government of Canada to bolster and create pan-Canadian standardized health data and digital tools to better track and have an up-to-date picture of diabetes and it's evolving impacts.
