In-house Organization Details
Description of the organization's activities
Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative (Y2Y) works to connect and protect habitat so people and nature can thrive. We use a partnership based approach to collaborate with hundreds of community partners, including conservation groups, local landowners, businesses, government agencies, Indigenous governments, people and organizations, scientists and others to protect habitat along the spine of the Rocky Mountains. Our work addresses the needs of wildlife and people, giving animals room to roam and promoting harmony between communities and nature. We do so by promoting awareness and understanding, and by collaborating on, delivering, and using the best available science and/or knowledge.
