Description of the organization's activities
The Petroleum Services Association of Canada is the national trade association representing the service, supply and manufacturing sectors within the upstream petroleum industry. PSAC represents a diverse range of over 275 member companies, employing more than 65,000 people and contracting almost exclusively to oil and gas exploration and production companies. PSAC member companies represent over 80 per cent of the business volume generated in the petroleum services industry. The association provides value to its members by representing their needs within the petroleum industry, and to government and the public. PSAC is the knowledgeable leader in the industry through the provision of standards, training, information dissemination, and a code of ethics

Regular members are oilfield service, supply and manufacturing companies with more than 50% of their revenue generated from the upstream petroleum industry. Associate members are those companies who do not qualify for regular membership but who have an interest in the success of this sector of the petroleum industry.
