Society of Composers, Authors & Music Publishers of Canada / Société canadienne des auteurs, compositeurs et éditeurs de musique (SOCAN) – SOCAN is Canada’s largest rights management organization with more than 160,000 members. SOCAN represents, administers, enforces and protects the copyrights of its members – songwriters, composers, music publishers and visual artists, as well as rights of over four million international creators in Canada. SOCAN collects and distributes royalties for public performance, communication to the public, and reproduction of musical works in Canada and around the world. SOCAN has offices in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, and Los Angeles.
