- Project Falcon is an extensive, five-year research and development project to support core technology development across the company's technologies, applications, products and services. CAE has been claiming eligible costs through the Strategic Aerospace and Defence Initiative program CAE’s Project Falcon which was signed in March 2009. In February 2014 CAE signed a new R&D program under SADI, namely Project Innovate. Under Project Innovate CAE will develop its next generation of simulation platforms for its civil aviation and defence markets.
