Call upon the Federal Government to investment in the Canadian Co-operative Investment Fund. To commit resources to build capacity in the co-op sector to promote co-operatives as a sustainable and well understood business model that can have significant impact on major policy.

Bank Act: Supporting amendments to the Act that would allow credit unions to continue to use banking terms.

Climate Change Adaptation - Advancing flood resiliency, residential overland flood insurance, flood mapping, weather harden houses/changes in building codes
Fire Safety with respect to enhancing community resilience to wildfires and building code amendments for fire sprinklers in new home construction.
Resilient and Low-Carbon Economy: Support the recommendations of the Financial Stability Board Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures financial to promote more consistent, comparable, and reliable disclosure of climate related information. Call upon the Government to establish a Canadian Leaders Task Force on Sustainable Finance which would develop a set of recommendations for a Canadian Framework for Sustainable Finance.
