Description of the organization's activities
The Canadian Association of Broadcasters is the national trade association and the collective voice of broadcasting in Canada. It represents private broadcasters, including television and radio stations, and specialty and pay services. The CAB advises members on a wide range of issues such as regulations, advertising, copyright, social concerns and technological developments.

Organization's membership or classes of membership
CAB represents privately-owned and operated (and largely advertiser-driven) Canadian public broadcasters. It has radio, television and specialty services members. Membership is divided into category A members, for those who own a defined minimum number of radio, TV and/or specialty service licences, and category B, for those who own less than the defined number of licenses.
