IT REPRESENTS THE VAST MAJORITY OF PRIVATE BROADCASTERS, WITH A MEMBERSHIP OF 401 RADIO STATIONS AND , 78 TV STATIONS, 1 NETWORK 14 SPECIALTY SERVICES AND 96 ASSOCIATE MEMBERS. THE CAB ADVISES MEMBERS ON A WIDE RANGE OF ISSUES SUCH AS REGULATIONS, ADVERTISING, COPYRIGHT, SOCIAL CONCERNS AND TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENTS. THE ASSOCIATION PUBLISHES BRIEFS, HANDBOOKS, POLICY PAPERS AND MONTHLY NEWSLETTERS. IT DEVELOPS AND PUBLISHES INDUSTRY CODES TO HELP BROADCASTERS DEAL WITH SOCIAL CONCERNS AND TO MAINTAIN HIGHSTANDARDS IN PROGRAMMING. THE CAB ALSO PROVIDES ITS MEMBERS WITH A NUMBER OF SERVICES THAT ASSIST MEMBERS IN SERVING THEIR COMMUNITIES, EG . PSA CAMPAIGNS. |
