AREA'S FORMATION WAS A DIRECT, PROACTIVE RESPONSE TO THE FACT THAT CANADIAN CLIMATE CHANGE POLICY HAS BEEN DEVELOPED WITHOUT A STRONG, BROADLY-BASED, CONSULTATIVE PROCESS. AREA ACTIVELY ENCOURAGES THE PARTICIPATION OF ITS MEMBERS IN VOLUNTARY PROGRAMS. | ||||
