Description of the organization's activities: THE MANDATE OF FCPMC IS TO REPRESENT ITS MEMBERS TO FEDERAL AND PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENTS, OTHER SECTORS OF THE AGRI-FOOD, FOOD AND CONSUMER PRODUCTS INDUSTRY, THE NEWS MEDIA AND THE PUBLIC. THROUGH AN ACTIVE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND MEMBERS WHO SERVE ON MANY COUNCILS AND COMMITTEES, FCPMC STRIVES TO BE A LEADER IN DEVELOPING AND ADVOCATING POSITIONS ON KEY ISSUES AFFECTING THE INDUSTRY.
