Description of the organization's activities: | THE PGAC IS A NATIONAL NOT-FOR-PROFIT ASSOCIATION FOR THE CANADIAN PROPANE INDUSTRY DEDICATED TO MAXIMIZING THE ECONOMIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL BENEFITS OF PROPANE TO CANADIANS, AND PROMOTING A SAFE AND FRIENDLY PRODUCT FOR ALL USERS FROM INDUSTRIAL TO RECREATIONAL. OUR MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES COMPANIES RANGING FROM SMALL BUSINESS TO LARGE CORPORATIONS, AS WELL AS INDIVIDUALS AND ASSOCIATES. THE PGAC MANAGES PROGRAMS FOR ITS MEMBERS IN THE FOUR MAIN AREAS OF MEMBER SERVICES, ADVOCACY AND GOVERNMENT RELATIONS, REGULATORY, SAFETY AND TRAINING; AND LPG EMERGENCY RESPONSE. CURRENTLY THE PGAC IS WELL FUNDED AND EXTREMELY ACTIVE, WITH A STAFF OF SEVEN. IT MAINTAINS AND DEVELOPS A NATIONAL PRESENCE AND REGIONAL EFFECTIVENESS THROUGH ITS HEAD OFFICE IN CALGARY AND THROUGHT ITS TECHNICAL SUPPORT OFFICES IN TORONTO AND VANCOUVER. |
