IT ALSO PROVIDES A WIDE RANGE OF SERVICES TO ADVANCE THE INDUSTRY, AND TO HELP MEMBERS OPERATE MORE EFFICIENTLY AND PROFITABLY. APMA OFFERS MEMBERS A UNIFIED, EFFECTIVE VOICE IN THE FUTURE DIRECTION OF THE AUTOMOTIVE PARTS' INDUSTRY.THE ASSOCIATION SERVES AS THE NATIONAL REPRESENTATIVE OF CANADIAN AUTOMOTIVE PARTS MANUFACTURERS THROUGH REPRESENTATION TO GOVERNMENT; LIAISON WITH VEHICLE MANUFACTURERS, LABOUR GROUPS AND FOREIGN PARTS MANUFACTURING ASSOCIATIONS; PROVISION OF CURRENT INFORMATION, EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER SERVICES TO MEMBERS; PROMOTION OF TRADE AND BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES WORLDWIDE; AND DEVELOPMENT OF PUBLIC AWARENESS PROGRAMS.APMA'S SERVICES INCLUDE A MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY; TRADE PROMOTION; DISPLAYS AT INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIRS AND AUTOMOTIVE SHOWS; BULLETINS; AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION; SPECIAL WORKSHOPS; GOVERNMENT LIAISON; AND ANALYTICAL STUDIES.

THERE ARE TWO TYPE OF MEMBERSHIPS: REGULAR MEMBERS AND ASSOCIATE MEMBERS.REGULAR MEMBERS ARE COMPANIES WHO SUPPLY AUTOMOTIVE PARTS DIRECTLY IN THE INDUSTRY. ASSOCIATE MEMBERS ARE MEMBERS WHO INDIRECTLY SUPPORT THE AUTOMOTIVE PARTS INDUSTRY. THEY INCLUDE CONSULTANTS, TECHNOLOGICAL COMPANIES, FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS, ETC.
