TRANSMITTED ACROSS 29,000 KM OF TRANSMISSION LINES AND 109,000 KM OF DISTRIBUTION LINES. ONT HYDRO WAS CREATED IN 1906 BY PROVINCIAL STATUTE AND OPERATES TODAY UNDER THE POWER CORPORATION ACT OF ONTARIO. ONTARIO HYDRO IS A SELF-SUSTAINING CORP. WITHOUT SHARE CAPITAL. BONDS & NOTES ARE ISSUED BY OH & ARE GUARANTEED BY THE PROV OF ONTARIO. THE CORP. IS GOVERNED BY A BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF UP TO 22 MEMBERS.
