- SmartATLANTIC Inshore Weather Buoy Network - Seeking capital and start-up funding through Transport Canada and/or Environment and Climate Change Canada and/or Canadian Coast Guard to be used to acquire and deploy 3-metre Ocean Data Acquisition System (ODAS) buoys to support port operations, safety of life at sea, and scientific research.

- Tanker Expert Safety Panel - to provide a written submission to the Tanker Expert Safety Panel outlining the current situation and practices for the movement of pollutant cargoes by water, in Atlantic Canada and to put forward recommendations to enhance the safe movement of pollutant cargoes by water, in Atlantic Canada.
