On December 8th, 2005, GlaxoSmithKline purchased all the issued and outstanding shares of ID Biomedical Corporation. The Corporation has nonetheless survived the closing of the above noted transaction and now carries on business as IB Biomedical Corporation cob as GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals North America. The Corporation is an integrated biotechnology company dedicated to the development of innovative vaccine products. It operates in research, development, manufacturing, sales and marketing from its facilities in Canada and in the United States.
