• Import Permit quotas. Intervene to ensure that any proposed changes to existing rules and legislation are fair and equitable and do not adversely affect the dairy processing sector.
• National Milk Marketing Plan. Proper administration of the National Milk Marketing Plan to ensure that dairy product manufacturers are not adversely affected by any changes that might be proposed. To be a presence reminding government that dairy product manufacturers need to be consulted and heard on all dairy related issues.
• Provide input and feedback on policies, programs to ensure that dairy processors’ views are taken into account and that any results do not impede dairy processors' competitiveness or their ability to grow their dairy processing activity. Advocate for dairy processors' interests in the context of international trade negotiations and in response to COVID-19 pandemic.
