Le Conseil de l'industrie forestière du Québec est le porte-parole de l'industrie forestière québécoise. Il défend les intérêts de cette industrie auprès des gouvernemens et de divers groupes. Il fait également la promotion des activités de ces dernières et de leur respect envers les principes du développement durable.
