- Funding approved from the Foreign Credential Recognition Program for supporting and expediting the entry of Internationally Trained Accountants (ITAs) into the Canadian job market by providing a mid-tier level Advanced Certificate in Accounting and Finance (ACAF) that recognizes their international education and experience, is valued by Canadian employers, and provides a bridge to the Canadian CPA designation; and supporting and increasing the number of Aboriginal finance professionals with the Aboriginal Financial Officers Association of Canada’s (AFOA Canada) Certificate in Aboriginal Financial Management (CAFM) in successfully obtaining the Advanced Certificate in Accounting and Finance (ACAF). The contract and funding have been reorganized and extended to June 30, 2022 due to the logistical challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Funding from Global Affairs Canada through the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives to develop initiatives in partnership with Ordem dos Contabilistas e Auditores de Moçambique (OCAM) targeting students through education and training to strengthen financial literacy in Mozambique.
- Funding provided by the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) to CPA Canada for planned initiatives related to financial literacy, entrepreneurs and businesses.
