Description of the organization's activities: The mission of the Association is to promote the growth and development of a safe and environmentally responsible Canadian propane industry. The broad functions include promotion of the interests of the industry, including working with government on legislation, policies and programs affecting propane, public education, incident emergency response, and delivery of industry specific training programs.
Organization's membership or classes of membership: Membership in the Associaiton comprises all aspects of the propane business, including producers, wholesalers, transporters, and retail marketers. We also have a general associates membership category for those who wish to join the association, but whose primary business is not represented by the main categories of membership (e.g., consultants).
