Description of the organization's activities: | Your student government has continued to lobby both levels of government on behalf of students for over a quarter of a century. It has also endeavoured to enhance student life at University of New Brunswick, Saint John (NBSJ) by contributing to the Residence Fund, Venture Campaign, athletic equipment, computer equipment, scholarships & bursaries and funding annual Orientation, Winter Carnival, Grad Class, the radio station, student newspaper, social events and numerous clubs and societies on campus. |
Organization's membership or classes of membership: | All students at UNBSJ are a member of the Students' Representative Council. They pay an annual fee to maintain this membership. Councillors are elected by the student body each spring and fall. There are 13 councillors and 5 executive positions. |
