Subject Matter: Retrospective: As a key member of the Coalition of Energy Trusts, Enerplus will be aggressively pursuing an opportunity to meet with the Minister of Finance and his department to better understand their rationale for the proposed amendment to the Income Tax Act, the Tax Fairness Plan. We will also communicate the implications that these changes will have not only on our business but the sector as a whole and will educate them on the benefits we have brought to our investors, our employees, our business partners and the Canadian economy.
Subject Matter: Prospective: Enerplus will continue its efforts to change the course of the Conservative government regarding the proposed taxation of Income Trusts.
