Description of the organization's activities: | The Canadian Association of Agri-Retailers (CAAR) is a non-profit association working for the common interests of crop input retailers on a national level. Activities of the Association include: 1) Production of several publications, including the communicator magazine, a monthly fax newsletter and a monthly electronic newsletter for directors; 2) An annual convention and trade show for 1500 delegates; 3) Regional meetings to discuss member issues; 4) Safety and training seminars on various topics (predominantly related to fertilizers and chemicals); 5) Ad hoc research and lobbying on issues which affect the crop input sector. |
