In all its activities, the ACP aims to promote the writing, publishing, distribution and promotion of Canadian books. | ||||||||

Must have been in business for at least two years from date of publication of first Canadian-authored title. Must have published at least four Canadian-authored titles in the previous year, and must continue to publish at least four Canadian-authored titles each year thereafter. Must have at least 10 titles in print, of which no more than 10% are published by owners or directors of the company.Active members have full voting privileges.Associate Member:Book publisher which must have its head office in Canada and be at least 75% Canadian-owned and -controlled. Publication of Canadian-authored books must be an important part of the company's business. Must have at least two original Canadian books published with the past three years, of which no more that 25% are published by owners or directors of the company.Associate members may attend meetings, but have no voting privileges.Supporting Member:Individual, institution, or corporation who supports the objectives of the association.Supporting members have no voting privileges, and may attend meetings by invitation only. This class of membership encompasses entities which are not book publishers. | ||||||||
