Promote the value of the current Chemical Management Program run by Health Canada and Environment and Climate Change Canada
The Silicones Environmental Health and Safety Council (SEHSC) is working with Environment and Climate Change Canada on the Risk Assessment and Risk Management of siloxane based substances . These substances are being assessed by the Government’s Chemical Management Plan which is jointly managed by Environment and Climate Change Canada and Health Canada. Our role is to facilitate the use of ongoing science in to the risk assessment and risk management process.
