Description of the organization's activities
The Coast Forest Products Association is the regional advocate and issues manager for those forest companies working within the geographic bounds of the B.C. coast. General areas of regulatory interest and areas of service include Aboriginal Affairs, Environment, Forestry, Occupational Health and Safety, Market Access, Sawmill Services, Security Services and Lumber Promotion programs. Provincial-related regulatory issues account for 90% of staff time

Membership in Coast Forest is offered in two classes: active members - membership in which we would work towards the members' interest in regulatory issues or other services.
