The Western Transportation Advisory Council (WESTAC) is a not-for-profit organization of major organizations, represented by senior business leaders, labour and government decision-makers. It is a credible, balanced Western Canadian voice that facilitates and promotes collective action to achieve supply chain excellence. Activities include: two member meetings in a year (with themes around supply chain issues), conferences, research and facilitation services, reports, publications and written input on supply chain-related issues, and career-related activities dedicated to promote awareness of the transportation industry.
