Legislative Proposal, Bill or Resolution
- Bill C-532, Act to Amend the Food and Drugs Act, in regard to warning labels on beverage alcohol containers
- Bill C-569, National Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), in regards to creation of a national strategy
- Motion 17, Amendment of Criminal Code Reducing Legal Blood Alcohol Limit, in respect to a reduction in the legal blood alcohol limit (Federal) to .03. The BAC strongly supports the current Federal legal blood alcohol limit and the administrative measures in place at the sub-national level of government. Given the effectiveness of this current Federal/Provincial/Territorial framework and the prevalence of traffic safety research and expert opinion that any reduction in the Federal legal blood alcohol limits would be ineffective and counterproductive, the BAC does not support this Motion.
- Motion 382, Introduction of Mandatory Label Requirements for Consumer Goods, in regard to labelling of beverage alcohol containers
- Motion 87, Amendment of Criminal Code Reducing Legal Blood Alcohol Limit, in respect to a reduction in the legal blood alcohol limit (Federal) to .03.
