IFA will not be lobbying for change directly or indirectly for change to legislation and policies but providing up to date information that may assist the various departments in their thinking and strategy.
Objets poursuivis : Renseignements prospectifs : | Development work as it relates to the IFAs 9th global conference on ageing and the senior government officials meeting on Ageing-in-Place. The IFA is interested in the opinions of the government in preparing a senior government meeting that adds to the strategic thinking and work currently being administered in Canada to benefit seniors. Also in the preparation of the policy related reports our office would be sending the draft documents for comment to various ministries to (a) inform them of the content and (b) to seek their views as to how best to describe current policies of the government. IFA is also available to inform the government on the policies and practices in various countries but does not express its views on national policies.
