Description of activities

Ford Credit Canada Limited (Ford Credit) was incorporated and commenced its operations in Canada on July 23, 1962. Ford Credit is wholly owned by its U.S. parent, Ford Credit International, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Credit Company. Ford Credit has two wholly-owned subsidiaries: Canadian Road Management Company; Canadian Road Credit Company Limited and, in addition, it indirectly holds 100% of the ownership interest in two Ontario limited partnerships, Canadian Road Holdings Company and Canadian Road Leasing Company. Ford Credit provides wholesale financing and capital loans to licensed Ford Motor Company of Canada, Limited dealers, purchases retail installment sale contracts and retail leases from them and also makes loans to vehicle leasing companies.
