Ford Credit Canada Limited (Ford Credit) was incorporated and commenced its operations in Canada on July 23, 1962. Ford Credit Canada Limited changed its name to Ford Credit Canada Company, effective January 9. 2017. Ford Credit is indirectly wholly owned by its U.S. parent, Ford Credit International LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Credit Company LLC. Ford Credit has two wholly-owned subsidiaries: Canadian Road Management Company and Ford CTCJ Company. Ford Credit provides wholesale financing and capital loans to licensed Ford Motor Company of Canada, Limited dealers, purchases retail installment sale contracts and retail leases from them and also makes loans to vehicle leasing companies.
